Emma EdwardsA member of the under-21 British Team at the European Championships.

A competitor at both Badmintion and Burghley.

Emma Edwards is now an international equine artist - and a regular on the BSJA Show Jumping circuit.

Says Emma Edwards

Since a very young age I have always had the ability to capture animals expressions, character and movement. Having a love of all animals I was compelled to draw them from the day I could hold a pencil. At Croft House School I even won their Horses in Literature drawing competition and was presented with the award by The War Horse author, Michael Murporgo.

Although Art was a big part of my life and I was always drawing and painting portraits for friends and family, my professional career as an Artist didn't start to my late 20's as I had big ambitions in the competitive sport of Eventing.

Says Emma EdwardsI was a member of the under 21 British Team at the European Championships and then went on to compete at Badmintion International 4 star and also Burghley International 4 star.

For years friends and family had been telling me to take up Art as a full-time profession as my talent was being wasted.

So after I hung up my eventing boots I set about my task of becoming a professional Artist.

My Art now is commissioned from all over the world, Australia, America, Africa, Ireland, Europe and of course the UK.

My sole aim is to capture horses, pets, animals individual character and expression. I specialise in producing commissioned portraits from clients photos.

Says Emma Edwards

I also have limited edition prints and original work available for sale. I have won many awards for my Art work. That combined with owning horses, dogs all my life and also living on a farm, it has given me an extensive in-depth knowledge of all types of animals anatomy enabling me to draw a very accurate and life like painting/drawing of your beloved animal.

I still compete my two horses and I'm a regular out on the BSJA Show Jumping circuit. I am currently in the process of talking to the International Show jumper Anna Edwards. As I will be doing her a painting of her two top horses.
