Oliver Townend has just won the most valuable eventing
prize ever.
The Yorkshire man, who missed the Olympics when the owners of
his ride, Flint Curtis withdrew him from the Games, won
the Express Eventing International Cup in Cardiff by an unbelievable
margin of more than 30-seconds. Lucy Wiegersman came second.
Commiserations to Mary King. Her
top horse, Call Again Cavalier, fell and broke a leg during the
cross-country and had to be put down.
