That Forestry Commission letter to TROT
Maureen Comber joins the debate Thin edge of a very nasty wedge. We must find all the ammunition we can to expose them.
Says Maureen Comber
It is discrimination and disgusting. It is also what makes me think there is an underlying attempt at land grabbing.
I don't think the conservationists have quite realised, because they have for so long relished the thought of consigning horse riders to the proverbial archives with the dinosaurs, that in fact they are playing right into the hands of those politicians who are seeking to stuff yet more people into this green and once pleasant land.
Easy, get it enclosed first and then watch while the conservationists are manipulated by "being given" a piece of common land somewhere in exchange for loosening their grip on another. These guys like doing deals like that. LA's do it all the time and Broxhead is a very good example. Elected members are politicians first with party foremost rather than the interests of the people who elect them.
No help there then!
