Says Maureen ComberI can and will do as you suggest but here again they admittedly will not be doing their statutory duty.

The legislation gives them twelve months in which to deal with such an application. Read on and you will find they are at least six years behind! So are local councils above the law? If not how can the ordinary man find justice because it is far too expensive for individuals to take action through the courts particularly when there are so many mistakes.

Where perceived wrongs cannot be examined and put right more injustice occurs and unfortunately it seems to me that we are now at the bottom of the trough dug deeper by the last Labour government.

So much for localism and the Big Society, it clearly cannot work.

I pine for a more sensible approach to saving our forests
