Meet Bob Milton, the artist

This year sees the inaugural show for local artists being put on by AbbeyArtists at the Garden Gallery at the Farnham Museum from the 24th to the 28th August. The show will be open from 10am to 5pm each day with an evening session on Friday 26th August and a private viewing on Saturday 27th August.

The show will show case a number of artists from the Surrey and North East Hampshire some like Avril Sleeman whose watercolours and etchings have been sort after for many years and Bob Milton the local public access consultant and garden designer who has turned to painting watercolours some forty years after selling his first oil painting.

The show will include photos from a recent New York exhibition by Chris Milton and paintings by local Godalming artist Roger Matthews and Leslie Kilner. All the exhibits are for sale and cover a large spectrum of subject from landscapes and still life’s to animal portraits and buildings. The dominate media will be watercolour but will also include etchings, photography, pen and wash and inks.
